How to print Voter ID front and back on one A4 page

  1. Add the front and back

Choose a JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC image for each side, or a PDF such as a downloaded e-EPIC. Each side is optional. If your PDF shows both sides on one page, add it for one side and press Use the same PDF page for the other.

  2. Pick the PDF page and password

For a PDF with several pages, use Previous and Next to choose the page. If the file asks for a password, enter it. It is used only in your browser.

  3. Crop and position the card

Use Crop & position to select the card area on each side. For a PDF page, the crop starts on a card-shaped area the tool finds on the page; check it and adjust. You can rotate in 90° steps, and unlock the frame to crop freely.

  4. Choose card size and paper

Keep the standard 85.6 × 54 mm card size, or enter a custom width and height in mm. Pick A4 portrait or landscape, Top or Centre position, and the gap between cards.

  5. Check the preview

The live preview is drawn to scale. Each side shows an estimated DPI, with a warning if it may print blurry.

  6. Download or print

Download the PDF, or press Print to open it in a new tab. Print at Actual size or 100%, not Fit to page.

What you can do with this tool

  • Images and PDFs

Use JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC images up to 25 MB, or a page of a PDF. PDF pages are turned into a 300 DPI image, and password-protected files are supported.

  • Both sides on one sheet

Front and back sit on one A4 page with an adjustable gap and optional cut lines. Either side can be left out.

  • Crop it yourself

Select the card area with a card-shaped frame, or unlock it to crop freely. You stay in control of exactly what is printed.

  • Standard or custom size

Use the standard 85.6 × 54 mm, or enter any width and height in mm, for example if your older card measures differently.

  • Live preview and DPI check

The preview is drawn to scale, and each side shows its estimated print resolution, with a warning below 200 DPI.

  • Stays on your device

Everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and there is no sign-up. Location data (EXIF/GPS) is removed from embedded JPEGs.

Page and card measurements

These are the sizes the tool offers.

A4 paper210 × 297 mmPortrait or landscape
Default card size85.6 × 54 mmThe PVC EPIC is about 86 × 54 mm (ECI specification), so it is practically the same size.
Custom card sizeWidth and height in mm
Position and gapTop or CentreGap between cards set with a slider; cut lines on by default
Accepted filesJPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and PDFImages up to 25 MB; PDF pages rendered at 300 DPI
OutputOne-page PDFFile name: voter-id-front-back-a4.pdf

The ECI specification for the PVC EPIC gives 86 × 54 mm with a tolerance, so cards differ slightly. We could not find an official size for the older laminated paper card or for a printout of an e-EPIC, so measure yours and use a custom size if needed. When printing, choose Actual size or 100%.

Frequently asked questions

What is the size of a Voter ID card in mm?

The ECI specification for the PVC EPIC is about 86 × 54 mm, with a tolerance, which is effectively the standard credit-card size. This tool defaults to 85.6 × 54 mm. For other versions, measure your card and use a custom size.

How do I print Voter ID front and back on one A4 page?

Add the front and back, crop each side with Crop & position, check the preview, then download the PDF or print it. Both sides are placed on the same A4 sheet.

Can I use my downloaded e-EPIC PDF?

Yes. Add the PDF and a page of it is turned into an image at 300 DPI. If the file has several pages, use Previous and Next to choose one. If it asks for a password, enter it. It is used only in your browser. Then crop the card area.

My e-EPIC shows both sides on one page. What do I do?

Add the PDF as the front, then press Use the same PDF page on the back side. The tool suggests a starting crop on each card-shaped area it finds on the page (the first for the front, the second for the back). It is only a suggestion, so check both and adjust with Crop & position.

What if I have the old laminated paper Voter ID?

We could not find an official size for it. Measure your card with a ruler, choose Custom size, and enter its width and height in mm so the printout matches.

Will the printed card be the actual size?

Yes, if you print at Actual size or 100% scale. Fit to page or Shrink to fit scales the whole sheet and the card will no longer match the size you chose.

Do I need both sides?

Each side is optional, so a page with only one side works. Check with the organisation asking for the copy which sides it needs.

Is it safe to share a copy of my Voter ID?

Share only what is needed, and only with someone who needs it. The card carries a QR code that may contain personal details, so keep printed and digital copies safe.

Are my files uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing happens in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and there is no sign-up. The tool is free. Location data (EXIF/GPS) is removed from embedded JPEGs.

Is PdfDady connected to the Election Commission?

No. PdfDady is independent and not affiliated with the Election Commission of India or any government body. This tool only arranges the images you provide. It does not create, verify or alter any details, and a printed copy is not the original card. Whether a copy is accepted, and whether it needs self-attestation, is decided by the organisation asking for it.
