Frequently asked questions

How do I crop a PDF?

Add the PDF, drag the corners of the crop box to the area you want to keep, choose all pages or one page, and download cropped.pdf.

Can I crop only one page?

Yes. Go to the page, set the crop, and choose “Page N only” under Apply to.

How do I remove white margins?

Press Trim white margins. The crop box fits around the page's content with a small gap; adjust it if needed.

Is the cropped-off content deleted?

No. Cropping hides the area outside the box, but it stays in the file and PDF software can show it again. To share a document without some content, remove those pages or don't share it.

Does cropping make the file smaller?

No. The hidden area is still stored in the file. To reduce the size, use Compress PDF.

Will the quality drop?

No. Only the visible area of each page changes. Nothing is re-rendered and text stays selectable.

Is my PDF uploaded?

No. The PDF is cropped in your browser and the file is not uploaded.
