How to put multiple photos on A4

  1. Add your photos

Add up to 50 images. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC are accepted, up to 25 MB each.

  2. Choose photos per page

Pick 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 9 photos per page, then A4 or US Letter and portrait, landscape or auto orientation. Auto chooses, page by page, the orientation that shows that page's photos largest.

  3. Choose how photos fit

Whole photo keeps the full picture inside its cell. Fill cell crops from the centre so the cell is completely filled.

  4. Adjust the layout

Set the margin (None, Small 8 mm or Large 15 mm) and the gap (None, Small 4 mm or Large 8 mm). Cut lines are off by default; switch them on if you want them. Reorder, rotate or remove photos as needed.

  5. Download the PDF

The PDF has as many pages as needed. Use Download PDF, or the Print button to print straight away. Print at Actual size or 100% scale.

What you can do with this tool

  • Different photos, one sheet

Each cell holds a different photo. Up to 50 images can go into one PDF.

  • 1, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 9 per page

Choose a grid size on A4 or US Letter, in portrait, landscape or automatic orientation. Auto picks, page by page, the orientation that shows that page's photos largest.

  • Whole photo or fill cell

Whole photo never crops. Fill cell crops from the centre to fill the cell.

  • Margin, gap and cut lines

Margin and gap can each be None, Small or Large (margins 0, 8 or 15 mm; gaps 0, 4 or 8 mm). Optional cut lines, off by default, help you trim.

  • Reorder, rotate, remove

Arrange photos in the order you want, turn any that are sideways and remove the ones you do not need.

  • Quality kept

Images are never upscaled, are capped at 600 DPI and have location data removed, as in Image to PDF.

  • Stays on your device

Your photos are not uploaded. Free, no sign-up and no watermark.

Frequently asked questions

How do I put multiple photos on one A4 page?

Add your photos, choose how many per page (1, 2, 4, 6, 8 or 9), keep A4 as the page size and download the PDF. More photos than fit on one page continue on the next.

Is this the same as Passport Photo Maker?

No. This tool places different photos in a grid. Passport Photo Maker makes copies of a single photo at a set size.

What is the difference between Whole photo and Fill cell?

Whole photo fits the full picture inside its cell, leaving some blank space if the shapes differ. Fill cell crops from the centre so the cell is completely filled.

How many photos can I add?

Up to 50 images, each up to 25 MB, in JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC.

How do I print at the right size?

Use the Print button, or download the PDF and open it, and print at Actual size or 100% scale. Choosing Fit to page in the print dialog will scale the layout.

Can I use US Letter instead of A4?

Yes. Choose US Letter as the page size. Orientation can be auto, portrait or landscape. Auto picks, page by page, the orientation that shows that page's photos largest.

Will the quality of my photos drop?

Images are never upscaled and are capped at 600 DPI at their printed size. Location data is removed from them.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The PDF is made in your browser and your photos are not uploaded.
